Story Note From the Photographer
Another night wandering around with my camera. I didn't really have a specific shot in mind—I just wanted to spend some time inside the train station and see what caught my eye.
Eventually, I saw this moment and knew I had the photograph I was looking for. The open train door, the person stepping aboard, and the light spilling onto the platform all came together at just the right moment.
The original image had several overhead lights above the train that pulled my attention away from the subject. I removed them during post-processing to simplify the frame and let the darkness become part of the photograph.
About the Photograph
Between Stops captures a quiet moment of movement inside a train station. The figure caught mid-step creates a sense of transition, while the open doorway and warm interior light stand out against the surrounding darkness. The deep shadows and large amount of negative space give the photograph a cinematic quality, leaving the destination—and the story—to the imagination.

Shipping & Care
To help protect your print during transit, it will be carefully rolled and securely packaged in a protective shipping tube. Once received, gently unroll the print and allow it to naturally relax before framing. If dust accumulates, gently wipe the print with a clean, dry cloth.
