Story Note From the Photographer

This was actually taken the same day as the Godzilla photo. We were walking by yet again another alleyway, and spotted this person walking down the alley. I took a few photos as he came my way and then they walked downwards into a basement. 

I did not follow, I kind of wish I did. 

About the Photograph

A vividly costumed and masked figure walks toward the camera through a busy urban service street. Elaborate textures, bright colors, feathers, fabric, and hanging objects make the subject immediately stand out against the industrial surroundings.

Behind him, a delivery truck, passing pedestrians, and uniformed security personnel continue with their routines, creating an unexpected contrast between the extraordinary and the everyday. Shipping & Care
